“ On the 22 of October 2009, a mixture of Secondary 1, 2 and 3 cadets headed to Sentosa Beach with a high spirit. With excitement and anticipation engulfing our cadets, all awaits for the fun to begin.Upon reaching, five wonderful sand castle instructors gave us a short briefing and divided us into groups. The instructors taught us the techniques to bringing sand castle. It is not as easy as it seemed as patience and teamwork is required. To build a “successful” sand castle, we have to communicate, allocate different tasks to different people and to cooperate to complete the castle. The instructors also put our skills to the test. It was a competition based on creativity and innovation. At the end, all our groups did a fantastic job and impressed our instructors.Despite being under the sun, our spirits were not affected. It was a fun-filled day for us. We started off with a high spirit and ended off on a high note. It was really an enjoyable day of experience of our lives. "Recount by Charmian (Sec 2, 2009)
