" The basic leadership course was organised so as to prepare the sec 2 cadets for their leadership roles when they become NCO’s in their sec 3 life. The course was 9 hours long, which was going to be a long day for the cadets. However, the cadets did not complaint as it was a fun and enjoyable course. The coaches were all humorous. Thus, brighten up the course. The sec 2 cadets had enjoyed the course. Throughout the course, the cadets learnt not only about leadership but also about bonding between each other. Thus, making this course more meaningful, as in NPCC bonding between each other is important.
Most importantly, the cadets had fun, and learnt many things in the process. At the end of the day, although the cadets were tired, their faces were lit up by smiles and the course ended with an “eleven clap” cheer. The cadets were sad that they had to part with the sociable and funny coaches, but i am sure that The cadets will cherish the memories they had together. "

“ Right after our end of year exams, our NPCC UNIT organized this fun filled activity, "Shoot Out!"
The activity was held at Hougang Park therefore we need to have a level of discipline while having fun in the public.
Upon commencing, the trainers explained the rules and instructions to us before splitting us into four teams. Each player has 7 "lives" and a death is equal to all of the players lives being taken away. Our weapon was a laser-based gun, and when a player was shot, the sensor around the player would beep.
We were all given task like: "Kill the opposing team" and "capture the flag" based missions.
This requires teamwork. I contributed the most deaths to my team because I did not apply strategy and consider my action with the team. Hence, I learnt it the hard way.
In conclusion, I feel that this activity requires teamwork, communication and strategy and thus learning to apply them to our daily life is important and helpful to us. "
